I was diagnosed with uterine cancer last year and had to have chemo and radiation. I was in a support group to find out as much information as I could to know what to expect with side effects and how to deal with them. Many on the sight mentioned using acupuncture as a way to help manage symptoms and the American Cancer Society suggests it as well. My husband had seen Daisy and highly recommended her. Daisy is no less than awesome, she treats the whole body not just symptoms. She is very invested in your health and helping you to feel better. I credit her with my going through treatment with very minimum side effects. My oncologist was always very impressed how good my labs were through the entire chemo treatment. I highly recommend acupuncture and Daisy for cancer treatment and general overall health as I am going to continue seeing her on a regular basis.

Daisy did amazing work relieving my chronic pain and discomfort.
I never give a 5 star review because there is always room for improvement but for Daisy, 5 HUGE stars. She is absolutely fantastic.

Under Daisy’s care, I made significant improvement in what I felt was a short amount of time, and have found that when a treatment is complete I have continued relief and a sense of well being that lasts long after the treatment has ended. I moved to Maryland about 18 months ago and have not found anyone that can match Daisy’s knowledge and professionalism. Her treatments have been so effective for me that I still book appointments with her every time I am in Colorado. At my first visit, I was immediately impressed with Daisy as she listened to me carefully and asked very pertinent questions to diagnose the root cause of my health conditions and determined the most effective treatment method for me. With Daisy, it was not one treatment fit all. She was genuinely interested and customized a treatment to meet my needs. At every visit Daisy continues to impress me with her technical and practical knowledge. Daisy immediately puts one at ease with her friendly and positive approach.

I am fortunate enough to have had Daisy for my Non-VA care. As a combat vet, I came home with my fair share of issues that needed addressing. Getting approved through the VA was fairly seamless and I highly recommend her service to all of my battle-buddies out there that need help. Having been utilizing acupuncturists for 14 years, I know the difference in quality care and Ms. Lear is top notch.

Seeking help after a hysterectomy, I went to three acupuncturists before I found Daisy. It's been three or four years now and I will never go anywhere else. She is absolutely phenomenal. She is intensely inquisitive and meticulous, and balances a scientific approach with an amazing intuitiveness in her treatment of me. I have called her a detective - and I have no doubt her treatment has profoundly changed my health and well-being. I could not recommend her more highly. And I'm picky.

I injured my lower back 47 years ago. I was left with some fractures (Spondylolysis) and a slippage forward of one vertebrae (spondylolisthesis). I live with back pain constantly. I exercise routinely to help maintain muscle strength to help my back. I had another back injury about 1 1/2 yrs ago. This resulted in a compression fracture of my first lumbar vertebrae. I lost 30% of the vertebrae height. This injury also caused more slippage of my lower spine from my previous injury. The pain was intense. I sought medical treatment. I did Chiropractic care, massage therapy, and physical therapy to help alleviate the pain. All of these treatments helped a bit, but the pain was still bad. I was icing my back 2-3 times a day to kill the pain. I don’t like pain medications. It was suggested, I try acupuncture. I found Daisy and started treatment. She is wonderful. She listens, researches, and applies acupuncture techniques, exercises, along with suggestive therapies, and other treatments to help. She is very thorough! After the first few treatments I didn’t think this was going to help. At around the 4rth session I started to see some improvement. I found I was reducing the time I was icing my back. I have had around 10 treatments. I don’t ice my back at all. I still have some pain, but it is back to the normal pain I have had for years. The intense pain is gone! It has made an incredible difference for me in my daily life, physically and mentally! Daisy is a very knowledgeable, personable, and a healer. My life is so much better because of her and I am so ever grateful for Daisy’s help.

Daisy is knowledgeable, kind and well versed in her practice. She takes her time to learn about you and your needs - and her assistance is invaluable. I have used many acupuncturists over the year, but she is by far my favorite! I highly recommend her services.

Many years ago, I injured my back playing tennis. Over the years, (20+ yrs.) I lived with back spasms and pain and dealt with it as much as I could. There were times when I would be almost completely debilitated due to back pain. In 2009, my wife happened to find Daisy and gave me a gift certificate for a treatment. Ever since then, I have been going to Daisy for prevention and general maintenance (usually twice a month). I can honestly say that with a combination of exercise and routine visits to Daisy, my back pain is very manageable and without any over the counter or prescription drugs. I cannot recall the last time I had a back spasm, which is great! I am very fortunate to have found the professional care I get from Daisy as well as her care-taker attitude.

Daisy is a true healer, I first came to see her when I was having problems with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. After 3 visits, I no longer had pain and tingling in my wrists. I have been a believer ever since. She takes her time and pays special attention to each clients individual needs, the body work she does is a bonus too! Any pains or problems that arise I call Daisy first

Daisy was my first experience with acupuncture and she made me a believer for life! I have seen her for many things including vertigo, shoulder tension, fertility, and menstruation. I was surprised at how much all the issues had to do with one another! She was able to bring me relief for all of them over a short amount of time! I am very grateful to have found her!!

I always have a great experience with Daisy. She's very professional but still manages to to make it personal and friendly. She's extremely knowledgable, and obviously a very skilled acupuncturist. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I had a disc replaced in my neck in February of 2019 and I have been going to Daisy for a few months and my neck is much better now thanks to her. She's also been helping me with my lower back and has made a significant improvement in that area as well. I might just be riding my motorcycle again after all thanks to Daisy.

I saw Daisy Lear for stubborn shoulder pain that I had for a year or more that would not go away. I had tried chiropractic, physical therapy, yoga…everything that I could think of but it didn’t get any better. After seeing Daisy for a few treatments, the shoulder pain went away and never came back. To this day, years later I am pain free. She was a godsend to me and I’ve referred her to others who have been helped as well!

I met Daisy a few years back when she was offering free auricular acupuncture at a local veterans organization. I had never tried acupuncture before, but had a few friends suggest that I give it a try. At the time I was struggling with some tendon issues in my elbow that had plagued me for about 6 months, so when Daisy said she thought she could help I figured why the heck not. Almost immediately I noticed improvement in not only the pain in my elbow, but also in my overall energy and alertness! After a few weeks of short 20 minute treatments my elbow was back to 100% and I couldn’t be happier.
I recently returned to Daisy as I found myself struggling with Plantar Fasciitis, again going months dealing with the pain. Daisy and I met for three sessions that lasted about an hour each. Again I started to notice an amelioration of my symptoms almost immediately. Within a couple weeks of treatment I was back on the trail running and enjoying my life -without the previous worries when I found myself in excruciating pain from any activity.
What I have appreciated most about working with Daisy is her ability to listen to me and to understand what is happening in my body rather than coming from a perspective of knowing better than I do and doing what she thinks is best (an issue I have had in the past with doctors who discount my experience). She is also willing to explore options of treatment in order to best address the issue, blending many different techniques skillfully and with intention. I do and always will consider her my “Miracle Worker”.
Thanks so much for what you do Daisy!

I've been seeing Daisy for a couple years now for general maintenance and acute problems at times. I've seen her for neck and shoulder, low back problems to name a few ailments. She is the best all around acupuncturist I've been to. She does moxibustion, needles and cupping all in the same session. It is so relaxing I usually fall asleep. Go here if your tired of taking pain medication, and do not want surgery. You will be very glad. If she cannot help you she will definitely tell you within a couple of sessions, or you will not see any progress. My guess is she probably can help you. I let the cat out of the bag about how good she is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FIVE STARS!
I can’t say enough about how acupuncture/Eastern medicine helped me. I feel like Daisy saved my life. I had been given a highly potent prescription drug with big side effects for a jet lag situation while vacationing in Thailand. By the time I flew home 10 days later, I was confused, lethargic, nauseated, trembling uncontrollably, hyperventilating, sweating, malnourished from constant diarrhea—and the list goes on and on. It seems every possible bad side effect from this drug had enveloped me. My husband rushed me to Urgent Care where I then received questionable care and advice. The doctor had never heard of such a reaction like I’d had, thought it was impossible given the short term use. He thought I had some other underlying issues going on. What? I went home distraught, not knowing if I should just check myself into a hospital; after all, I wanted to rip my fingernails off and I itched all over. The pressure in my ears was beyond tolerable.
I called a primary care physician who listened to my symptoms and very astutely suggested that I was highly sensitive to the drug I had been given. She e-mailed me articles discussing how it could actually cause the very symptoms it was suppose to relieve. In desperation and totally dysfunctional, I found Daisy through a network of friends. She worked me into her schedule that very day (on a Saturday). I arrived barely able to walk from the trembling limbs and fighting off hyperventilation. Within minutes, she had me on the table and began treatment, clearly explaining everything that she was doing, and why, and professionally gleaning more information as we went along, always reassuring me. Within 15 minutes, the trembling in my legs began to wane and my breathing had deepened and slowed. It was a miracle to feel. The next 3 days of detox were extremely difficult with rebound symptoms. Thankfully, Daisy had sent me home prepared with some valuable tools to help me through. I pinched those seeds she had so precisely placed in my ears —and they worked!! Most importantly, she had sent me home with a renewed sense of hope and validation of me and my own instincts. She didn’t just treat the symptoms, she treated the whole person.
When I arrived for my next visit three days later, the immense change was undeniable. I was smiling, walking, eating (and was still hungry) calm and content! Daisy, seeing the drastic improvement, tailored her treatment appropriately, and here I am today, just 7 days later, symptom free, clean, and feeling GREAT. I couldn’t have done it without Daisy.

The best thing Vickie did was go see Daisy! It’s a very helpless feeling watching your wife suffer. I didn’t know how, nor could I, help her. And so, when she returned from her first appointment with Daisy, I was mesmerized by the difference in her physical condition and demeanor. After just two visits, I had my wife back!

Daisy is truly a “one in million” professional, and I can’t say enough positive things about her. I was referred by a co-worker to seek treatment from Daisy over two years ago and have been a devote patient/client since. I’m a veteran permanently retired from the military because of health problems that were acquired while on active duty, and I can honestly say that I’ve seen dozens upon dozens of different health care professionals. None of them, whether practicing western medicine or alternative medicine, compare to Daisy. She is very knowledgeable, altruistic, honest, and professional. She always makes me feel comfortable, at ease, and understood. I’ve never felt any judgment towards me. Her practice is always very clean and private. I strongly recommend her help.

A friend recommended Daisy to me because I have a chronic hip condition, there is no padding in the hip joint, it is bone on bone. I am 88 years old and need to avoid surgery. Daisy is a miracle worker for me. Before acupuncture I was taking six pain pills a day, and two weeks later, I was only taking one. As of today, there are many days that I don’t have to take any pain pills. She is a wonderful person.

My mother, Dorothy is 88 years old. She was not able to walk very well because of the pain associated with her hip. I called Daisy and explained her situation. Daisy offered to come to the house so that my mother could receive the acupuncture treatments in the comfort of her own home. We are both very grateful that she is willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent service to mom. Mom is on a prevention and maintenance program, and I have noticed a great reduction in her pain, and increased mobility. Daisy is very knowledgeable about a wide range of health issues.

After 18 years of multiple health issues, not diagnosed by my doctors, Daisy’s knowledge and acupuncture treatments relieved me of them. Those issues include discovering my intolerance to wheat, finding an herbal formula for my intestinal blockages, getting rid of my sciatica, and several other chronic problems. Daisy Lear is highly educated and experienced in the use of Chinese medicine.

I think one of the most amazing things about getting acupuncture from Daisy Lear is that she LISTENS! You never feel rushed or like what you’re saying is unimportant. She begins every session by asking how you’re feeling and takes into context the mind, body, soul connection. Meaning, if you’re feeling sad, she’s going to want to address that as much as she wants to address aches in joints or hormonal imbalances. By being able to do acupuncture as well as provide natural supplements she provides a full range of care. I am always impressed by how much better I am feeling two hours after a session. My mood is always better and my body feels lighter and more youthful.
I started seeing Daisy when I was experiencing serious depression around my monthly cycle. It was severe enough that I would sometimes wish I wouldn’t live anymore. However, I no longer experience these negative bouts of emotion. The week before my period I have almost no symptoms at all, no cramping, very little anger or depression. My family might not even know that I’m cycling. It is truly amazing and I am thankful to God that he has brought Daisy into my life.
I continue to see Daisy regularly for maintenance, even when I feel that I do not need a session, because it is nice to retain the emotional and physical balance that I experience when I am treated.

My name is James and I am a Vietnam War combat veteran who has worked with Daisy in order to help me deal with my PTSD and the related health issues that have arisen from this experience. Although I live out of the area I have availed myself of Daisy's skills in the field of acupuncture and her knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine in order to make my quality of life better. I first went to Daisy about 5 years ago and I now count on her skills and expertise to help me maintain my regimen of good health. I am 71 years old and I suffer from all of the normal things that affect the body as one ages. She is, first of all, extremely knowledgeable about her field of practice and yet, she is always open to trying new techniques and treatments which makes me feel very good about her competence levels. I have gone to other acupuncturists who are also very good at what they do but I feel that Daisy has that extra edge that makes me seek her out. I have received a number of concrete health benefits from her treatments and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is considering having acupuncture and herbal treatments. I am immensely satisfied with her work.

I met Daisy in 2005. I was going to have neck surgery for back pain. I suffered for years with neck, shoulder and back pain from an injury. Daisy was recommended to me by a fellow worker, she did wonders. I canceled my surgery and never looked back, my pain was gone. She was the best and the most caring person to work with, thank you Daisy.

Daisy has helped me in more ways than one. I started going to Daisy for endometriosis pain. We worked together through acupuncture and herbs to bring my high levels of pain (where I couldn’t stand up at times) down to almost nothing. I was then in a MVA, rear ended while stopped at a light. We then started to work on helping my left shoulder to stop hurting all the time. With her knowledge and care, she was able to help me stop all the pain under my shoulder blade! I am so very grateful for Daisy and all she knows and does!
